MEMBERSHIP
As a non-profit organization, funding for the US -
NZ Council comes from membership fees and sponsorship of events. We are
grateful for the support of our current members, who recognize the need to
develop links between US businesses and the NZ leadership community.
Benefits of membership
include:

Opportunities to participate with top US and NZ government and
business leaders in events such as the US - NZ Partnership Forum.

Opportunities to have voices heard on political, economic, security
and trade policy issues by high-level New Zealand and American
leaders.

Interaction with leadership and members of the Friends of New
Zealand Congressional Caucus in the US House of Representatives and
the NZ Parliamentary Friendship Group for the United States.

Involvement in building support for the Trans-Pacific Partnership
free trade negotiations.

and in-country support regarding trade and other commercial
opportunities in NZ and Asia Pacific and contacts with public and
private sector officials in New Zealand and the United States.

Facilitation of relationships, networking, and attention to specific
policy or commercial issues.

Invitations to all US - NZ Council hosted events, such as luncheon
roundtables, receptions, briefings, and Torchbearer award and other
dinners with top US and New Zealand leadership.

role in setting Council objectives and programs
