The US-NZ Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, has opened a separate segregated bank account entitled “American Friends of Christchurch” to facilitate tax deductible contributions to earthquake recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction in Christchurch.  100% of deposits in this account will go to the Christchurch relief effort.  This portal will be superseded in coming weeks by a new US-based American Friends of Christchurch entity when it acquires it’s own 501(c)(3) status.   During this interim period, checks payable to “American Friends of Christchurch” may be sent to The American Friends of Christchurch, 4410 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Suite 103, Washington, DC, 20016 or donors may follow the instructions on the following link.
